It’s been awhile since we’ve posted but we’re back with a vengeance and so much to write about over the coming months.
First of all, I should explain our absence. Well, we made the hasty decision to move back to the city. It meant we had a house to be sold, find a new home and move, all over the Christmas period – while on a New Zealand cruise, mind you!
With all that going on, we still took time to travel, and wine and dine as much as possible and have so much to share with you.
Coming up over the next few weeks, there will be articles about What To Do in Sydney, reviews of our Adelaide trip, particularly our day trip to the Barossa Valley, and one of the most amazing Degustation Menus we’ve ever experienced at Penfolds Magill Estate.
Now we’re back in the city, we’re enjoying experiencing all Sydney has to offer. There will be a rundown of some of our new favourites, including Neil Perry’s Margaret in Double Bay as well as some old classics like Beppi’s Italian Restaurant in Darlinghurst which we booked last minute and were glad we did.
We might have moved away from the Blue Mountains but that doesn’t mean we don’t find ourselves spending time there and there will be reviews on what to do and where to stay particularly with the chilly Winter months upon us.
Looking ahead, we’re trying our first Celebrity Cruise and so expect a comparison of our experience with Princess and Royal Caribbean. I’m also in the midst of planning another trip to the United Kingdom and Ireland. This time we’re including a road trip through Scotland. I can’t wait to share those experiences with you.
