Right in the heart of Dublin’s Temple Bar, the recently opened Hard Rock Hotel is a great place to stay for music fans and lovers of luxury hotels alike. With its prime position to the heart of the tourist district, it is everything you could want from an upmarket hotel but with all the hallmarks of the Hard Rock brand.
On a recent road trip through Ireland, we booked a night’s accommodation at the delightful Armada Hotel at Spanish Point in County Clare. Our one regret was that we didn’t book two nights and vowed on our next trip, we definitely will. If you’re travelling the Wild Atlantic Way or just meandering through County Clare, it definitely should be on your list.

One of the friendliest hotels you will ever stay in is the award-winning luxury, boutique hotel, Bishop’s Gate Hotel within the city walls of Derry, Northern Ireland. Not only is it the friendliest, it is one of the prettiest hotels I’ve stayed in as well.
When in Belfast, no doubt you will find yourself at one point at the Titanic Quarter. Belfast has built a thriving industry out of its connection to the ill-fated ocean liner, Titanic.
Even the water looks fancy when it’s placed on the table in the Great Room at The Merchant Hotel, Belfast. The former headquarters of the Ulster Bank has all the old world charm of years gone by and their formal dining area is a sight to behold.
Our last night in London, we dined at Oblix on Level 32 of The Shard and the view alone made the experience more than memorable.
